I am really enjoying learning the macro. It is just fun to see things from different angles and lighting, and so closeup!
Is it just me or is there something strangely beautiful about the knot? It is one of my favorites.
Seeing the beauty of these lizards through the eyes of an adult, I almost feel guilty for wearing them as earrings as a child. I guess they thought they were attacking the giant as they chomped now on my ears, and I thought I was funny. Poor guys!
Glad their descendents do not hold a grudge and pose for such beautiful pictures.
This little fella looked like he was reading the Seven Dust bag in the last two shots.
Daily Prompt: Moment of Kindness
I told Lillee a joke. She smiled a courtsey smile.
Then she caught the punchline…
Then she could not contain herself…
I asked her if she liked that joke…and she winked at me.
Such a sweet girl!
It is interesting once YOU capture something in photo, it becomes yours, and you start noticing things you have not before. I have noticed the beauty of dragon flies before, even commented on a blog recently about how beautiful their pictures were, but it was not until today when I looked at my pictures that I noticed just how large their eyes are. Photographers truly do see through different eyes. I am not in the class with the pros, I will never reach that point, but I am so excited for the eyes that I see through now.
I went to natures inch worm curvy body and the beautiful curves of the magnolia pedals. I also borrowed a beautiful curves my husband took of copper wire, and then the contrast of the rusty curves of the chains.
I love these little guys. We have a bucket on our porch with these pipes, and this time of the year our frogs come back.
Well, I am pretty sure they are new ones, but they are so cute and awesome. It gets to the point when they hear us come home or walk outside they will hop up to the top of the pipes for a quick hello. Last year we had, I think there were about eleven of them. Right now there are only about three or four.
